Decades of Interventional Spine Experience. Fellowship-Trained Care.

Dr. Westergaard completed an ACGME-accredited Pain Medicine fellowship at Texas Tech University and is board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. This formal training informs the evaluation, planning, and performance of interventional spine procedures.

Regen Experts uses both fluoroscopy (real-time X-ray) and ultrasound, selecting the imaging approach for the anatomy and procedure. Ultrasound helps visualize soft tissues; fluoroscopy provides additional guidance for selected deeper spinal targets. Ultrasound alone is not interchangeable with fluoroscopy for every spine procedure.

When comparing care, ask about the physician’s fellowship training, the specific structures being treated, and the imaging used to guide the procedure. These details help explain the scope of your treatment plan and its cost.

What determines the cost?

A joint is a system of cartilage, bone, ligaments, tendons, and supporting muscles. Your recommended care may address the joint space and other structures contributing to your symptoms.

PRP and bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC) costs depend on the procedure recommended and the scope of care. Dr. Westergaard evaluates your condition before recommending treatment targets.

Your treatment plan

01

The treatment selected

The plan may involve PRP or bone marrow concentrate, each with its own collection and processing requirements.

02

The structures treated

The number and location of treatment targets help determine the scope of your procedure.

03

The complete plan

Review the recommended procedures, imaging guidance, and follow-up arrangements when discussing your estimate.

A written estimate for your recommended care.

Your evaluation is billed separately. After the evaluation, you receive an individualized written procedure estimate before scheduling treatment.

Review the treatment targets, total estimated procedure cost, and which services are included or billed separately. Ask about collection and processing, image-guided treatment, and follow-up visits so you understand the full plan.

Prices listed on other websites may not reflect the total cost of your recommended treatment.

You’re making an investment in your health and mobility. The details matter. Understanding what your treatment plan includes helps you make an informed decision about your care.

Before comparing prices, ask what is included: collection and processing, the structures being treated, imaging guidance, and follow-up. Clarify any separate charges so you can compare the complete plans.

Answers to help you plan.

When will I know my treatment cost?

Treatment costs are determined after your evaluation. Dr. Westergaard identifies which structures need treatment and which orthobiologic will be used, then determines the cost of your recommended care. Treatment estimates are not provided by phone before you have been evaluated.

Why isn’t there one price for PRP or BMAC?

The treatment name alone does not describe the full scope of care. Collection, processing, the structures treated, and the recommended procedures all matter when reviewing costs.

How should I compare estimates from different practices?

Prices listed on other websites may not reflect the total cost of your recommended treatment. Ask what each quoted price includes: collection and processing, the treatment targets, imaging guidance, and follow-up. Compare the complete recommended plan and clarify any separate charges.
